Summer Strings 2024
SUMMER STRINGS IS BACK!!!!!!
The Summer Strings program was established in the Summer of 2019 by Music Teacher Mrs. Charlotte Van Ryswyk, and has provided students with the opportunity to work with their instrument like never before. Students of summer strings come to us at different ages, levels of playing, and personalities, but we are all there for one thing, to make music. In this two week, 3-hour a day summer orchestra work shop, students are given the special attention needed to learn how to practice, study music, and learn to navigate and master their instrument. Music is all day every day.
This year we are introducing our new Beginning Strings programs 10 week Saturdays only class 12pm - 1:30 (1.5 hours). This class is open to 3rd graders going into 4th grade in the fall, 4th, 5th, and 6th grade. If you are a parent, and would like to also learn how to play an instrument, your tuition fees will be waived and you will just need to pay for your Childs tuition. Students with no or some music experience, will learn how to play, Violin, Viola, or Cello for the first time. Instruments will not be provided for this class, but you can rent from a local violin shop for only $25 per month. J. Camp Tuition:
$50 Application Fee (None refundable)
Orchestra: $200 for 2 weeks Dates: July 22nd - Aug 2nd
Beginning Strings: $100 for 10 weeks : June 1st - July 27th
